Štědrej večer nastal…Ačkoliv na své pažbě nemám ještě ani třicet zářezů, už i já vzpomínám na své dětství a na mrazivé vánoce a hromady sněhu. Dnes na štědrý den jsem se vydal ven hledat ticho a místo toho na mě zpoza vesnice řve terénní čtyřkolka. Má být čas klidu a pokoje ale ne každý zažije na vánoce šťastné chvilky – zpoza kopce ke mně doléhá ozvěna střelby – vysoká nemá klid ani o svátcích! Po sněhu není ani památky a pokud si dobře vzpomínám, není to v posledních letech výjimka; náš pan prezident sice tvrdí, že k žádným klimatickým změnám nedochází, já si ale myslím, že ta příroda to s námi nemá vůbec lehké ať už se planeta otepluje nebo ne. Snad jedinou výhodou vánoc na blátě je fakt, že ptáci tolik netrpí zimou a nedostatkem potravy… Při dnešní vánoční procházce jsem přeci jen nakonec našel jeden ze symbolů vánoc – sněhuláka – hejnko takových malých se potulovalo vhouští na kraji vesnice a já jsem si s radostí v duši uvědomil, že příroda je velká bojovnice a když jí občas trochu pomůžeme, snad nám dá ještě šanci.
