10.1.2009 Bergen (NO)The first trip after coming back to rainy and dark Bergen after Christmas in Czech. After a little hesitation wheather to go to the coast, which is always better place for birding at this time of the year, I decided to check my favourite Spring and Autumn places north of Bergen. It was sunny for a while but the strong wind caused there was not much to see. The only birds around Dalabygda was a flock of 7 Crows and a few Sparrows; the highlight was Dipper at the creek inlet into the Langavatnet lake - see the picture below. A short stop in the Solheimsviken harbor in Bergen on the way back - there is still a flock of Tufted Duck on the sea - see the pictures below. Otherwise some common species - Crows, Gulls, 1 Great Cormorant and 3 Coots.
