Well, photographic slack season was set in by now – the Autumn colors are gone and the bird feeders are still empty; There is not much time and light for photography over the week and during weekends I pray for better weather forecast as most of the time it rains here in Norway at this time of the year. So the good time for fixing old holdovers came now and one of those is introducing a few pictures from Wales and England that have already been for some weeks in the gallery. Those pictures are from our trip to Wales and London in May 2008. We travelled to Wales to visit our two friends in Bangor and we spent great week there! We visited the highest mountain of Wales – Snowdon, Anglesey island with the village with the longest name in the world - Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyll-llantysiliogogogoch and most of all we drove south to the Skomer Island to watch Puffins and other birds of the south-western Wales – the article with more pictures was uploaded sooner here – Puffins at Skomer Island . We then had only a few days for visiting London and thus we only managed to see the most famous places and taste some of the great flavours of the “local international” cuisine. The trip was a bit in a hurry but it was really worth to make! It was great for photography, especially considering the birds at Skomer Island but there are some other pictures too, which you can see in the gallery in the section Countries – United Kingdom, a few snapshots are here…
